Career Statistics

  • Appeared in all 17 games and started 16 times
  • Finished second on the team in goals (24) and third in total points (24)
  • His 24 goals were a career high
  • Scored at one goal goal in 11 games and had eight multi-goal games, including a career-high four-goal effort in a 14-5 win at Washington & Jefferson on March 29
  • Scored 15 of his 24 goals in the final eight games of the season
  • Scored both of his goals in the first half in the Royals' 8-7 victory over Goucher on April 26 in Towson, Maryland, a win that locked up the number two seed in the Landmark postseason tournament

  • Saw action in 12 games and contributed seven goals from his attack position

  • Scored a goal apiece against Nazareth on March 9, Hartwick on March 16, then second-ranked Stevenson on March 26, the Merchant Marine Academy on April 2, Goucher on April 23, Catholic on April 30, and against then 12th-ranked Gettysburg in the opening round of the NCAA tournament on May 11
  • Scored on a man-up situation with 13:57 left in the third period to forge a 3-3 tie against Gettysburg in the NCAA tournament, which the Bullets pulled away after his goal en route to an 8-3 victory

High School/Personal

  • Played three seasons on the junior varsity and one on the varsity lacrosse program at Conestoga High School
  • Was named the most valuable player of the junior varsity team in 2008 when he scored 35 goals and had 11 assists
  • Poured in 50 goals for the junior varsity his freshman year and had 45 goals and 10 assists for them his junior year
  • As a member of the varsity program his senior year, finished with 15 goals and five assists for 20 total points
  • Member of Conestoga's state championship team in 2010
  • Conestoga also won the Central League championship in 2009, captured two Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District I titles (2009, 2010), and a state championship in 2010
  • Academically, was named to the Honor Roll in both his junior and senior year
  • Son of William and Florence Sturm
  • His father is a graduate of Marquette University and his mother is a graduate of Millersville University
