The University of Scranton women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the fall season on Tuesday, losing to Wilkes, 8-1, at Royal Courts.

Scranton (6-1) received its lone victory against Wilkes (3-0) at no. 6 singles from freshman Lindsey Roberto (Princeton, N.J./Notre Dame), who was a 6-3, 6-1 winner.

The women's tennis team is right back in action on Wednesday when the Royals host Oneonta State at 4 p.m. at Royal Courts.
