MADISON, N.J. – The University of Scranton women's tennis team (7-5, 1-1 Landmark) fought hard until the end, but dropped a tough 7-2 decision to the Drew University Rangers (8-8, 5-0 Landmark) on Wednesday at the Drew Tennis Complex in Madison.
Scranton trailed 2-1 after doubles play as the duo of junior Lily Nowak (Freeland, Pa./Hazleton Area) and sophomore Maddy Tratthen (Olyphant, Pa./Scranton Prep) posted an 8-1 victory in No. 2 doubles over Drew's Sanne Bloemendaal/Kate Gangi.
