ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (January 21, 2023) -- The University of Scranton wrestling team fell on the road to Elizabethtown in a 40-0 final on Saturday afternoon in Elizabethtown, PA.
With the loss, the Royals move to 3-6 on the season in dual matches.
- Getting things started at 125, sophomore Justin Schifter (Manalapan, N.J. / Manalapan) battled hard but was beat out in a 5-2 decision.
- Senior captain Will Laughlin (Lansdale, Pa. / North Penn) kept his bout close but also lost a 5-2 decision.
The wrestling team returns to action on Tuesday night when they head to Centenary for a dual match at 7:00 PM.
