ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Scranton men's tennis team (1-7) dropped a 9-0 decision to the Aquinas University Saints (4-5) in the final match of the team's Spring Break trip to Florida on Friday afternoon.
Aquinas won all three doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead in the match.
In No. 1 singles play, senior James Harrington (West Chester, Pa./Malvern Prep) dropped a three-set heartbreaker to Tom Gangov, 5-7, 6-3, 8-10.
The Royals will return home to host Messiah in a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon at the Royal Courts with first serve slated for 4 p.m.
