Box Score SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's tennis team posted a dominant 7-0 win over Marywood University at the Royal Courts on Thursday afternoon.

This marks the first win of the season for the Royals and moves them to 1-3. 

Doubles

• Freshman Erin O'Mara and senior Mayjah Jean-Pierre won their No. 1 doubles match by a score of 6-3.
• Senior Daniella Wisniewski and sophomore Gisele Falzone picked up a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles. 
• At No. 3 doubles, sophomore Kyleigh McNulty and senior Julia Nocentino earned a 6-0 win for the Royals.

Singles

• Jean-Pierre posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles for Scranton.
• Wisniewski earned a 6-2, 7-6 victory in the No. 2 position. 
• At No. 3 singles, Falzone picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win.
• Erin O'Mara notched a 6-1, 2-6, 10-4 victory at No. 4 singles.
• Junior Paige Hunt secured a 6-1, 6-2 win in the No. 5 spot. 
• Senior Brigid O'Mara won her No. 6 singles match by a score of 6-3, 6-4. 

The women's tennis team returns to action in the spring season.
