SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's volleyball team survived a third set surge to sweep Elizabethtown College 3-0 Thursday night in the Landmark Conference Semifinals at the John Long Center.

How it Happened
- In the first set, freshman Kassidy Means scored back-to-back kills to spark the first of two six point runs for the Royals.
- Scranton finished the set 25-10 off a kill by freshman Danielle Kramer.
- The Royals took an 11-point lead in the second set and held on to win 25-14.
- Elizabethtown opened the third set with their first lead of the game, 7-5.
- However, the Royals scored eight straight to regain momentum.
- The Blue Jays remained close behind, trailing the Royals only by one at 23-22.
- Kramer delivered a kill to give the Royals the game-point, and senior Katherine Denitz iced the game with an ace to secure Scranton's spot in the Landmark Conference Championship.

- Means led the game with 12 kills.
- Sophomore Cammi Quirk recorded a game high 20 assists.
- Senior Kaelie Chung led all in digs with 11.
