ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Scranton men's tennis team (2-6) dropped an 8-1 decision to the Hamline Pipers (7-4) in the team's Spring Break finale on Friday in Orlando.

Hamline won all three doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead.

Freshman Lucas Kotcho (Jermyn, Pa./Valley View) notched a thrilling 6-3, 7-6 victory for the Royals at the fourth singles flight as he got the best of Elijah Krause.

Scranton will return to the courts on Tuesday afternoon to host FDU-Florham in a non-conference match at 4 p.m.
