ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Scranton women's tennis team (3-5) dropped a 7-2 decision to the Hamline Pipers (6-5) in the team's Spring Break finale on Friday in Orlando.

Scranton trailed 2-1 after doubles play despite a thrilling 8-7 (9-7) victory from junior Julia Nocentino (Mantua, N.J./Kingsway Regional) and senior Lydia Grossman (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) in the third doubles flight.

In singles play, junior Daniella Wisniewski (Bedminster, N.J./Bernards) notched a 6-3, 6-1 win against Hamline's Ashley Pitzen at the second singles match.

The Royals are back in action on Saturday, Mar. 23 versus Catholic at 1 p.m.
