Box Score SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton women's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by East Stroudsburg University on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Courts.

Doubles

• Junior Daniella Wisniewski and sophomore Gisele Falzone earned an 8-6 win for the Royals at No. 1 doubles. 
• ESU won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. 

Singles

• East Stroudsburg won the opening five matches of singles play. 
• Freshman Nora Pencek posted a comeback win for Scranton in the No. 6 singles match by a score of 5-7, 6-3, 10-5. 

The women's tennis team returns to action on October 10 for a home match against Marywood at 4:00 PM.
