Graduate student Aviah Dahlgren of The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

This marks the fourth Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week honor for Dahlgren, who previously earned the award on Jan. 23, 2024, Nov. 7, 2023, and Oct. 24, 2023.

Dahlgren led the Royals with a pair of dominant distance victories at Saturday's tri-meet against Ithaca College and Hartwick College at the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium in Ithaca, N.Y. The Baldwin, N.Y. native swept both the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:07.29) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.85) to headline Scranton's top individual performances.

Her strong showing helped the Royals earn a 207-92 victory over Hartwick, while competing hard against a talented Ithaca squad.

Dahlgren continues to be a key leader and consistent performer for the Royals, anchoring Scranton's distance events early in the 2025 season.

The Royals return to action on Saturday, Oct. 25, when they travel to Washington, D.C., to face Catholic University in Landmark Conference competition.
