The University of Scranton women's basketball team will take its unbeaten start on the road this weekend, traveling to the University of Pittsburgh for a Division I exhibition contest on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center.
The Lady Royals enter the contest at 3-0, opening the 2025-26 season with three statement victories, including wins over No. 22 SUNY Geneseo, No. 7 SUNY Cortland, and New Jersey City University. Scranton has showcased its trademark defensive intensity and balanced scoring through the early portion of the schedule.
Under fourth-year head coach Ben O'Brien, Scranton continues to prepare for the heart of its schedule following last season's 29-2 campaign that featured a Landmark Conference championship and an NCAA Quarterfinal appearance. Sunday's exhibition at Pitt provides the Lady Royals with a valuable opportunity to compete against high-level Division I competition before returning to regular-season action.
Fans can follow the game through live video, live stats, and ticket information provided by Pitt Athletics.
