SCRANTON, Pa. — Six members of The University of Scranton men's soccer program earned recognition on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced in the organization's national release. Logan Campbell, Charlie Smith, Owen Barlow, Dean Finan, James Mayo, and Drew Paxson were all honored for their combined excellence on the field and in the classroom.
Campbell and Smith received additional distinction as Academic All-America finalists, advancing to the national ballot after being denoted with an asterisk in the CSC release. Academic All-America honorees will be announced on December 16.
The Academic All-District program recognizes the top student-athletes across NCAA Division III who excel both athletically and academically. All six Royals played significant roles throughout the 2025 season and continue Scranton's strong history of academic achievement across its athletics programs.
The Men's Soccer Academic All-District selections for Scranton were:
- Logan Campbell – Academic All-America finalist; 3.99 GPA as a Business Analytics major
- Charlie Smith – Academic All-America finalist; 3.65 GPA as a Finance major
- Owen Barlow – 3.83 GPA as a Business Administration major
- Dean Finan – 4.0 GPA as a Finance major
- James Mayo – 3.80 GPA as a Finance major
- Drew Paxson – 3.70 GPA as a Business Analytics major
Scranton men's soccer will now await the national Academic All-America announcement in mid-December.
