Junior Kaci Kranson of The University of Scranton women's basketball team earned Third Team Academic All-American honors as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Wednesday.

• Kranson holds a 3.60 GPA as a kinesiology major.
• This marks Kranson's first time being named to the Academic All-America team.
• Earlier this season, Kranson was selected to the CSC Academic All-District team for the first time in her career.
• The Scranton, Pa. native earned many accolades on the court this season, including D3Hoops.com Second Team All-American, Region V Player of the Year, Landmark Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-Conference.
