Scranton Women's Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule

The University of Scranton women's basketball team has announced its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of non-conference matchups and a full slate of Landmark Conference games as the Lady Royals aim to continue their tradition of excellence.

2025-26 Scranton Women's Basketball Schedule

The season tips off on Friday, November 7 with a road contest at SUNY Geneseo (6:00 PM), marking the beginning of a challenging three-game non-conference road stretch that includes trips to SUNY Cortland on Nov. 11 and New Jersey City University on Nov. 13.

Scranton will open Landmark Conference play on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Drew University before returning home to host Goucher College on Saturday, Nov. 22 (4:00 PM). The following day, the Lady Royals welcome Tufts University to the John Long Center on Sunday, Nov. 23 for a high-profile non-conference matchup.

The month of December features a trio of home games against Stevens Institute of Technology (Dec. 1), Moravian University (Dec. 3, Landmark), and Penn State Harrisburg (Dec. 21), along with road trips to Juniata College (Dec. 6, Landmark) and DeSales University (Dec. 16).

One of the season's highlights comes on Sunday, Jan. 11, as Scranton faces Landmark opponent Susquehanna University at the historic Palestra in Philadelphia. The Lady Royals return to conference action with key matchups against Lycoming (Jan. 14), Catholic (Jan. 17), and Wilkes (Jan. 21).

The regular season wraps up with a string of home games in February, including final matchups against Elizabethtown (Feb. 7), Lycoming (Feb. 11), Susquehanna (Feb. 14), and Wilkes (Feb. 18). The Lady Royals conclude the regular season on the road at Catholic University on Feb. 21.

Head Coach Ben O'Brien enters the season with high expectations, bolstered by returning veterans and a talented incoming class.
