Senior Zachariah Palinkas of The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team earned Honorable Mention All-American Honors as announced by USILA on Thursday afternoon.

• This marks the first career All-American honor for the Emmaus, Pa. native.
• Earlier this season, Palinkas was named the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors after he anchored a Scranton defense that allowed the fewest goals in conference play (51) and posted a perfect 9-0 record against Landmark competition. 
• This season Palinkas ranked second on the team in caused turnovers (23) and third in ground balls (46). 
• The senior defender helped lead the Royals to their third straight Landmark Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament First Round victory against Immaculata University, 20-8.
