Scranton Finishes 77th in Final 2024-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings

The University of Scranton finished 77th in the final 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup Standings as announced by the organization on Tuesday. 

Overall Standings 

Scranton ranked first among Landmark Conference schools with Catholic University following close behind at 83rd.

The Royals posted impressive efforts in the fall and winter to get off to a strong start this year. The women's soccer team won its fifth straight Landmark Conference Championship and made its third NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in the last four seasons. The women's basketball team won its 10th consecutive conference title and made it to the NCAA Elite 8. The women's swimming and diving program captured its second straight Landmark Championship. 

Strong performances in the spring helped the Royals secure the 77th spot. Both the men's and women's lacrosse teams won their third straight conference title and reached the second round of their respective NCAA tournament. The women's tennis team won its first Landmark Conference title since 2018, earning an automatic NCAA bid. On the individual side, Molly White represented Scranton at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, finishing 17th nationally in the heptathlon.
