Junior Max Dombrowski of The University of Scranton men's tennis team has been selected as the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

In Scranton's match against Marywood University on Tuesday, Dombrowski won both his No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles matches. 

Dombrowski turned in a dominant performance in the Royals' Landmark Conference opener against Susquehanna University on Saturday at the Royal Courts. He teamed with Ethan Borick to win the No. 1 doubles match 6-4, then delivered a flawless 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, showcasing his skill and leadership on the court.

This marks the third Landmark Athlete of the Week honor of Dombrowski's career, following previous recognition on Sept. 19, 2023, and Mar. 11, 2025.

The Royals will return to action on Wednesday, September 24, when they host Kutztown University at the Royal Courts in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with the match scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
