The University of Scranton women's basketball team will take the court at one of college basketball's most iconic venues on Sunday, January 11, 2026, when the Lady Royals face Susquehanna University as part of the fourth annual Landmark Conference showcase at The Palestra in Philadelphia, Pa.
The 2026 Palestra Gameday will feature the following matchups:
Men's Basketball Pairings:
- Catholic University vs Drew University
- Goucher College vs Juniata College
Women's Basketball Pairings
- Lycoming College vs Moravian University
- University of Scranton vs Susquehanna University
Known as the "Cathedral of College Basketball," The Palestra has been home to the University of Pennsylvania's basketball programs since it opened in 1927. It is the oldest major college basketball arena still in use and has hosted more games, more teams, and more NCAA Tournament matchups than any other facility of its kind. It is also the home of the storied Philadelphia Big 5, featuring Penn, Villanova, Temple, Saint Joseph's, and La Salle.
"The chance to participate in a game inside the 'Cathedral of College Basketball' is a privilege for our players and coaches and it will be without question a memory that lasts for a lifetime," said head coach Ben O'Brien.
Additional information regarding ticket sales and game times will be made available later this fall.
