WILKES BARRE, PA -- The University of Scranton women's tennis team kicked off the 2025-26 season in style this weekend at the King's Invitational, bringing home three flight titles in an impressive season-opening performance.
Freshman Sarah Crawford got her college career off to a fast start, taking home the No. 2 singles championship with a strong run through the draw. She looked sharp from start to finish and made a big statement in her Scranton debut.
Sophomore Erin O'Mara also had a great showing, winning the No. 3 singles title. After a solid rookie year, O'Mara came out with confidence and took care of business all weekend long.
In doubles, the freshman duo of Suzi Priest and Hannah Rowan teamed up for a strong showing at No. 4 doubles, grabbing the title in their first tournament together for the Royals.
The women's tennis team returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 16, hosting Kutztown University at the Royal Courts.Â
