SCRANTON, Pa. – Senior Kaci Kranson earned Landmark Conferecne Athlete of the Week honors after leading The University of Scranton women's basketball team to a pair of Landmark Conference victories last week.
Kranson scored 18 points in each contest as Scranton earned a road win at Lycoming College and a home victory over Catholic University. She poured in 18 points in just 20 minutes against Lycoming, shooting 7-of-12 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range.
The senior forward followed with an impressive all-around performance against Catholic, recording an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double while adding three steals and one block in the home win.
For the week, Kranson averaged 18.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 60.0 percent from the field, playing a key role in the Royals' success in Landmark Conference action.
This marks Kranson's second straight week earning the honor, her third selection of the season, and the 10th Athlete of the Week award of her career.
