BALTIMORE, MD -- The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team captured its third straight Landmark Conference title on Sunday.
The Royals finished atop the leaderboard with 887 points, narrowly defeating Catholic University of America's 873 points to secure the team title. The championship marks the sixth in program history for Scranton and the program's second three-peat, having previously captured three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010. This marks the third championship under head coach Chris Brown, who also guided the Royals to titles in 2024 and 2025.

Day Four Highlights
The Royals were powered by strong individual efforts in the pool, highlighted by Aviah Dahlgren's victory in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:51.98. Alyssa Bean turned in a standout showing with a pair of podium finishes, claiming the 200 butterfly in 2:08.49 and adding a second-place finish in the 200 backstroke at 2:07.29.
In the sprint events, Kimberly Gingrass secured third in the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in 54.33. Scranton also posted a runner-up finish in the 400 freestyle relay, as Gingrass, Amelia Griffin, Hailey Wilcox, and Dahlgren combined for a strong 3:41.10 effort.

Day Three Highlights
The Royals continued to stack podium finishes on Saturday.
In the 400 IM, Meredith Sulman led the way with a third-place finish, followed by Katherine Grefski (5th) and Samantha Whang (7th).
Campbell DeLuca earned a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly, while Isabella Kane (6th), Madison Rae (9th) and Kathryn DiLenge (10th) added depth.
Scranton posted two top-four finishes in the 200 freestyle as Kimberly Gingrass placed second and Aviah Dahlgren finished fourth. Olivia Thomas added an 11th-place showing.
In the 100 breaststroke, Sami Roerig (8th) and Amelia Griffin (9th) scored valuable points.
The Royals were strong again in the 100 backstroke, with Alyssa Bean finishing third and Sophia Markatos taking fourth. Nichole Koltsov placed 12th.
Scranton dominated the three-meter diving competition with three top-five finishes. Nicole Stofko placed second, Chloe Furlong finished third and Rylie Kearns added a fifth-place effort.
The Royals closed the evening with another podium relay finish as Kimberly Gingrass, Amelia Griffin, Alyssa Bean and Aviah Dahlgren placed third in the 200 freestyle relay.

Day Two Highlights
The women delivered a dominant performance in the 500-yard freestyle. Campbell DeLuca captured the conference title with a first-place finish, while Aviah Dahlgren placed second. Kimberly Gingrass (5th), Olivia Thomas (7th) and Sophia Markatos (8th) added scoring swims.
In the 200 IM, Meredith Sulman led the Royals with a fourth-place finish. Nichole Koltsov placed fifth, followed by Sami Roerig (9th), Samantha Whang (10th), Isabella Kane (11th) and Madison Rae (13th).
In the 50 freestyle, Amelia Griffin finished seventh and Hailey Wilcox placed ninth.
The Royals were strong in the diving events as well, placing seven in the top nine of the one-meter competition. Nicole Stofko led the way with a second-place finish, followed by Erin Burch (4th), Chloe Furlong (5th), Kaci Hackett (6th), Kathryn DiLenge (7th), Emily Kane (8th) and Rylie Kearns (9th).
Scranton capped the night with another podium relay finish, as the 400 medley relay team of Alyssa Bean, Sami Roerig, Campbell DeLuca and Amelia Griffin placed third in 4:03.29.

Day One Highlights
The Royals have accumulated 66 team points and trail Catholic University of America, which leads the standings with 80 points.
Scranton began the meet with a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay, as Alyssa Bean, Sami Roerig, Campbell DeLuca and Amelia Griffin touched the wall in 1:50.79 to secure an early podium result.
The Royals closed the evening with an outstanding swim in the 800 freestyle relay. Aviah Dahlgren, Kimberly Gingrass, Alyssa Bean and Meredith Sulman combined for a second-place finish in 7:54.69, earning significant points to keep Scranton within striking distance of the lead.
