SCRANTON, PA -- The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team fell, 13-10, against Ithaca College Saturday afternoon at Weiss Field.

How it Happened
- Scranton opened the scoring 1:57 into the game when Kyle Holmes took a pass from Brendan Donohue and found the back of the net to give the Royals a 1-0 lead.
- Less than two minutes later, David Dubas connected off a feed from Holmes and scored to put Scranton ahead 2-0.
- Ithaca got on the board at the 7:53 mark and tied the game 1:40 later.
- The Bombers opened the second period with a goal one minute into the quarter to take their first lead of the game at 3-2.
- Scranton answered just 23 seconds later when Quinn Carson scored on an assist from Donohue to tie the game at 3-3.
- Ithaca then went on a three-goal run over the next three minutes to take a 6-3 lead.
- Dubas scored with 5:19 left in the second period to cut the deficit to two, but Ithaca added two more goals before halftime to take a four-goal lead into the break.
- The Bombers scored the first goal of the third period just 32 seconds in.
- Scranton pulled within four at the 12:49 mark when Brian Kraemer took a feed from Carson and scored. Four minutes later, Kraemer found Jason Kozak, who drilled his first goal of the day to trim the deficit to 9-6.
- Ithaca responded with a pair of goals at the 5:29 and 3:10 marks before Kraemer scored again to make it 11-7 heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Bombers scored the first two goals of the fourth period over the opening five minutes to extend their lead.
- Trailing 13-7, Scranton scored the final three goals as Myles McCutcheon, Donohue, and Kraemer each found the back of the net, but it was not enough as the Royals fell 13-10.
