The Landmark Conference has recognized Kaci Kranson as its Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week following two standout games in which the senior captain delivered elite efficiency and consistent scoring to lead The University of Scranton Lady Royals to a 2–0 week.
This marks Kranson's fifth honor this season and the 12th in her career. She currently ranks second in the Landmark Conference in scoring at 17.3 points per game and sits among the conference's top ten in field goal percentage.
Kranson averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and shot an impressive 64 percent from the field (16-for-25) across wins over Moravian and Elizabethtown. Her performance highlighted her versatility, shooting ability, and impact on both ends of the court helping the Royals improve their record to 21-0 on the season.
She opened the week with 22 points and seven rebounds against Moravian, then followed up with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including eight rebounds in a home win over Elizabethtown.
Kranson's blend of efficiency and physicality has been instrumental to Scranton's strong momentum, and her standout week solidifies her status as one of the conference's top players.
