The University of Scranton men's tennis team earned a 7-0 senior day victory over Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Courts in Scranton. With the win, the Royals improved to 7-7 overall and 4-1 in Landmark Conference play.
Doubles
Scranton took two of the three matches to secure the double point.
Singles
- Dombrowski battled back after dropping the first set to win the No. 1 match 4-6,6-3, 6-1.
- Borick secured a 6-0,6-3 victory at the No. 2 spot.
- At No. 3 singles, Kotcho pulled out a three set win with a score of 6-4,6-7, (4-7), 6-2.
- Clark earned a straight- sets win at No. 4, finishing 6-2,7-5.
- Harrison won the No. 5 match with a score of 7-6 (7-0), 5-7,10-8 in a match tie breaker.
- Blum won the match with a dominant 6-0, 6-3 win at the No. 6 position.
