The University of Scranton women's tennis team fell at Catholic University on Saturday, 4-2.

The Royals finished the regular season with a 12-3 overall record and an 8-1 mark in Landmark Conference play and will enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed.

Doubles

• Catholic won two of the three doubles matched to secure the point.
• At No. 1, Sarah Crawford and Gisele Falzone were defeated 6-4.
• Hannah Rowan and Nora Pencek picked up a 6-3 win at No. 3.
• Kyleigh McNulty and Erin O'Mara fell 6-0 at No. 3.

Singles

• Crawford remained strong in No. 1 action with a 6-0, 6-2 victory for the Royals.
• Falzone fell 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 2 spot.
• O'Mara won her No. 3 match by a score of 6-3, 6-3.
• Rowan dropped a tight match at No. 4 (6-1, 4-6, 7-10).
• Pencek was defeated 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5.
• McNulty's No. 6 match went unfinished as the overall match had been decided.

• Scranton will be the top seed in the conference tournament and will host a semifinal match against the winner of #4 Drew University and #5 Wilkes University on Thursday, April 30th at the Royal Courts. More information will be released soon on Thursday's semifinal.
