Scranton enters the matchup with a 12-3 overall record and an 8-1 mark in Landmark Conference play. The Royals are also the defending Landmark Conference Champions and will look to repeat this postseason. Drew comes into the semifinal after defeating No. 5 seed Wilkes University, 4-2, in Tuesday's first-round matchup.
The two teams met earlier this season at Drew, where Scranton earned a 6-1 victory on the Rangers' home court.
Wednesday's contest will determine who advances to the Landmark Conference Championship match on Saturday, May 2 at the Central PA Tennis Center. The winner will face either No. 2 seed Moravian University or No. 3 seed Catholic University, who meet in the other semifinal on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
Scranton will look to continue its strong season and move one step closer to defending its Landmark Conference title.
