Scranton Men's Lacrosse to Host Catholic in Landmark Conference Championship Saturday at Noon

The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team will host Catholic University in the Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday, May 2, at 12 p.m. on Weiss Field in Scranton, Pa. The matchup marks just the second championship meeting between the two programs.

About Scranton

  • Top-seeded Scranton enters the Landmark Conference Championship with a 12–6 overall record and a perfect 9–0 mark in conference play.
  • The Royals are seeking their fourth consecutive Landmark Conference championship and fifth overall title.
  • With a victory, Scranton would become the first team in conference history to win four straight men's lacrosse championships.
  • A win would also move the Royals into sole possession of first place all-time in conference history with five Landmark titles. Scranton and Catholic currently share the record with four championships apiece.
