DALLAS, Pa. – Freshman Brianna Stein (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) earned medalist honors to lead The University of Scranton women's golf team past Misericordia and Wilkes on Sunday afternoon at Irem Temple Country Club.
Stein finished with 90 on the par-72 layout, leading three Scranton players who broke 100. Freshman Kristen Davis (South Abington Twp./Scranton Prep) and sophomore Maggie McDonough (Dunmore, Pa./Holy Cross) both shot 98. The Royals finished with a four-player score of 400, easily defeating Misericordia (510) and Wilkes (568).
The Royals will be back in action on Thursday, April 13, when they take on Wilkes at Huntsville Golf Club in Shavertown, Pa. at 1 p.m.
