The University of Scranton women's golf team placed third at the Conquer the Island Invitational, held at Shawnee Golf Course.
Susquehanna captured the team title with a 329 (+41), followed by Drew at 332 (+44). The Royals finished third with a team score of 370 (+82), ahead of Kean (382, +94), Arcadia (385, +97), Stockton (389, +101), Wilkes (398, +110), and Muhlenberg (467, +179).
Scranton was led by Lidia Marranca, who posted a 91 (+19) to pace the Royals. Marranca opened with a 49 (+13) before improving to a 42 (+6) on the back nine.
Mara Bilenski also carded a 91 (+19), highlighted by a steady 45 (+9) on the second nine.
Emily Davis finished with a 93 (+21), while Cassandra Weir posted a 95 (+23) and Julia Downing rounded out the lineup with a 98 (+26).
Scranton's effort secured a third-place finish as the team continues its spring season.
Next up: The Royals will compete at the Landmark Conference Championship, held April 25–26 at Shawnee Golf Course in Shawnee on the Delaware, Pennsylvania.
