Lennon, Nemitz Earn All-Conference Honors, as Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Landmarks

BRANCHBURG, N.J. - Juniors Molly Lennon (Melville, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) and Emma Nemitz (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) earned All-Landmark Conference Second Team honors, leading The University of Scranton women's golf team to a fourth place finish at the 2021 Landmark Championship, which was held at the par 72 Fox Hollow Golf Club on Saturday.

Overall, Catholic took the Landmark team title with a final score of 352, followed by Goucher in second at 363. Susquehanna placed third at 369, while the Royals rounded out the top four with a final score of 373.

Individually, Nemitz led the Royals on the day, posting a round of 91 to finish in a tie for 10th overall. Just behind Nemitz was Lennon, who carded a 92 to finish 14th. For Nemitz, it marked the second time in her career that she earned All-Landmark Second Team honors, while Lennon earned the accolade for the first time in her career.

Elsewhere, freshman Madalyne Buhler (Stony Point, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) finished in a tie for 15th with a 94, and sophomore Kate Pagano (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) rounded out the top finishers for Scranton with a 97 to place 17th overall.
