MOOSIC, PA (October 1, 2022) -- The University of Scranton women's golf team finished third behind Catholic and Drew at the 2022 Landmark Conference Fall Preview at Glenmaura National Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. 

Catholic took first place on the day with a team score of 351, Drew came in second at 365 and Scranton rounded out the top three at 407.

Junior Madalyne Buhler (Stony Point, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus) carded the low round of the day for the Royals with an 85 (+14). Freshman Lidia Marranca (Pittston, Pa. / Scranton Prep) carded a 101 (+30) in her first conference event.

Junior AnnaMarie Palermo (Media, Pa. / Merion Mercy Academy) and freshman Cassandra Weir (Staten Island, N.Y. / Notre Dame Academy) rounded out the lineup for Scranton with rounds of 109 (+38) and 112 (+41) respectively. 

The women's golf team returns to action on Monday, October 10th when they wrap up the fall season at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg University at Frost Valley Country Club.
