DANVILLE, PA (October 10, 2022) -- The University of Scranton women's golf team finished in fourth place with a team score of 411 at the Husky Invitational hosted by Bloomsburg University at Frost Valley Country Club on Monday.

Mercyhurst won the team title on the day with a score of 333.

Junior Madalyne Buhler (Stony Point, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus) paced the Royals with a 97 (+25) while her classmate Victoria Dowling (East Northport, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy Academy) finished right behind with a 98 (+26).

Freshmen Lidia Marranca (Pittston, Pa. / Scranton Prep) and Cassandra Weir (Staten Island, N.Y. / Notre Dame Academy) posted scores of 111 (+39) and 113 (+41) respectively while junior AnnaMarie Palermo (Media, Pa. / Merion Mercy Academy) rounded out the lineup with a 115 (+43).

This marks the last competition for the women's golf team this fall as they will resume action in the spring of 2023.
