DANVILLE, PA (April 14, 2022) -- The University of Scranton women's golf team took first overall at the Bloomsburg Invitational on Thursday afternoon as junior Kate Pagano (Massapequa, N.Y. / Massapequa) earned medalist honors with a round of 84 (+12) at Frost Valley Country Club.
Pagano's stellar round featured three birdies including a three on the par four 18th to finish her round. Finishing right behind Pagano was sophomore Victoria Dowling (East Northport, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy Academy) who took second with a round of 85 (+13).
Sophomore Madalyne Buhler (Stony Point, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus) tied for third in the invitational with a round of 89 (+17) while senior Molly Lennon (Melville, N.Y. / Half Hollow Hills East) finished 13th with a 100 (+28). Rounding out the lineup for Scranton was senior Emma Nemitz (Moscow, Pa. / North Pocono) who carded a 103 (+31) and finished in 14th place.
The University of Scranton women's golf team will return to action on Monday when they host Susquehanna University at Glenmaura National Golf Club at 1:00 PM.
