Sophomore guard Kaeli Romanowski (Lake Ariel, Pa./Western Wayne)Â of The University of Scranton women's basketball team scored a career-high 15 points in a victory over Albright and has been named Peggy's Scranton Athlete of the Week for the period ending Nov. 26, 2023.
This marks the first career Peggy's Scranton Athlete of the Week selection for Romanowski.
The Lake Ariel, Pa., native was 5-of-6 from the floor and buried a trio of three-pointers in the 86-43 victory over the Lions. She also added four steals and three rebounds in the win. Romanowski's 15 points surpassed her previous career-high of 12 that had been set on two occasions last season at Elizabethtown.
Through four games, Romanowski is averaging 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.3 assists per game.
Scranton will host Stevens in a non-conference matchup this evening at the John Long Center with opening tip slated for 7 p.m.
