Seniors captains Kaci Kranson and Kaeli Romanowski of The University of Scranton women's basketball team earned Academic All-America honors as announced this afternoon by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Kaci Kranson - First Team Academic All-American

• Kranson holds a 3.68 GPA as a Criminal Justice major.
• This marks Kranson's second time being named to the Academic All-America team after receiving third team honors last year. She is the only repeat Academic All-American on this year's division three team.
• Earlier this season, Kranson was selected to the CSC Academic All-District team for the second time in her career.
• The Scranton, Pa. native earned many accolades on the court this season, including D3Hoops.com First Team All-American, WBCA First Team All-American, Region V Player of the Year, Landmark Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-Conference.

• Romanowski maintains a 3.97 GPA as a Finance major.
• This is Romanowski's first selection to the Academic All-America team.
• Earlier this season, Romanowski was named to the CSC Academic All-District team for the third time in her career.
• The Lake Ariel, Pa. native also earned several honors on the court this season, including D3Hoops.com Fifth Team All-American, WBCA All-American Honorable Mention, Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Conference, and Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete.
