The University of Scranton women's basketball team will be honored by the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in recognition of its historic 2025-26 season that culminated in a run to the national championship game.
The Lady Royals will be recognized on the field prior to the second game of today's doubleheader at PNC Field, celebrating one of the most memorable seasons in program history. As part of the pregame ceremony, the team's three senior captains, Kaci Kranson, Kaeli Romanowski, and Jenna Sloan, will each throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
The on-field recognition highlights the team's remarkable achievements this season and gives fans an opportunity to celebrate the Lady Royals' success alongside the RailRiders faithful.
