MOOSIC, PA (April 17, 2023) -- The University of Scranton women's golf team defeated Susquehanna by a final score of 405-445 on Monday afternoon at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

Junior Victoria Dowling (East Northport, N.Y. / Our Lady of Mercy Academy) finished second overall on the day with a round of 84 (+13) to lead the Royals in the win. Fellow junior Madalyne Buhler (Stony Point, N.Y. / Albertus Magnus) carded a 99 (+22) for Scranton.

Freshman Cassandra Weir (Staten Island, N.Y. / Notre Dame Academy) finished with a 108 (+31) while junior AnnaMarie Palermo (Media, Pa. / Merion Mercy Academy) rounded out the lineup for Scranton with a 114 (+37).

The women's golf team will now get set to host the Landmark Championship this coming weekend at Glenmaura National Golf Club. Action is set to get underway on Sunday, April 23 at 11:00 AM.
