Freshman forward Elise Nicholas of The University of Scranton women's soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week, announced Monday by the conference office.

Nicholas was instrumental in leading the Royals to a 2–0 week, scoring the first goal in both victories. She tallied a goal and an assist in Scranton's 4–0 win over Elizabethtown on Saturday after opening the scoring in a 2–0 victory at Lycoming earlier in the week.

For the week, Nicholas totaled two goals, one assist, and five points, while registering five shots, including three on goal. Her attacking play helped the Royals extend their unbeaten streak and post back-to-back shutout wins.

Nicholas and the Royals return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 14, when they travel to Moravian University for a 7:00 p.m. Landmark Conference matchup in Bethlehem, Pa.
