MADISON, N.J. -- The University of Scranton field hockey team capped off an unbeaten season in Landmark play with a dominating 7-0 win over Drew University on Wednesday evening at Ranger Stadium in Madison, N.J.
The Basics

- Records: Scranton (15-3, 9-0 Landmark), Drew (14-4, 5-4 Landmark) 
How it Happened  
	- After both teams battled to a scoreless first quarter, Scranton broke through 7:25 into the second quarter. Sophomore Lydia Bechtel carried the ball to the back line and sent a pass to junior Ava De Natale who buried the shot to give Scranton the 1-0 advantage.
- The Royals started the second half on fire, scoring four goals in the first seven minutes of the third quarter. First, senior Annie Shaw grabbed possession inside the circle and flicked a short pass to junior Maggie Keys who found the back of the cage to make it a 2-0 advantage for Scranton.
- Less than four minutes later, sophomore Olivia Dougherty dribbled the ball into the circle to along the back line and then connected with Shaw, who fired a shot into the cage to increase the lead to three goals.
- Just 1:18 later, sophomore Shana Goldsmith redirected a ball from Dougherty into the cage to give the Royals a 4-0 edge.
- It took Keys and the Royals just 29 seconds after the Goldsmith goal to score their fifth goal of the game and fourth of the quarter. Keys took an insertion from senior Kiera Lamb on a penalty corner and drilled a long range shot for her second goal of the night to make it 5-0 Scranton.
- The Royals scored again just 1:39 into the fourth quarter to push the lead to 6-0. On a penalty corner attempt, Lamb inserted to senior Emily Gallagher, who ripped a shot that was tipped into the cage by Shaw for her second goal of the game.
- With just 1:08 left to go in the game, Keys sent a shot toward the cage that trickled in, completing her first career hat trick and giving Scranton an 8-0 edge.
