DANVILLE, PA – The University of Scranton men's golf team posted a fifth-place finish at the Husky Fall Invitational, hosted by Bloomsburg University on Thursday at Frost Valley Country Club. The Royals carded a team score of 309 (+21) in the one-day event.
Gehrig Shannon led the way for Scranton with a 4-over-par 76, highlighted by a stellar back nine in which he shot 1-under 35, recording two birdies and just one bogey.
Also contributing for the Royals:
The Royals finished just behind Bloomsburg Maroon and Goldey-Beacom, who tied for third at 308 (+20). Millersville University won the team title at 294 (+6), with Shepherd Blue close behind at 295 (+7).
