SCRANTON, Pa. – Three members of The University of Scranton men's soccer program earned national recognition on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Scholar All-America Teams, as announced by the organization. Logan Campbell was named the National Scholar Player of the Year and earned First Team honors, while Charlie Smith was also selected to the First Team. Drew Paxson rounded out the group with Second Team recognition.

Scranton was the only school in the nation to place three student-athletes on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Teams.
Campbell earned National Scholar Player of the Year distinction after an exceptional season both academically and on the field. A center back and Business Analytics major with a 3.99 grade point average, Campbell was a cornerstone of Scranton's back line, helping the Royals lead the nation in shutout percentage and goals-against average.
Smith joined Campbell on the First Team as the nation's top goalkeeper. A Finance major with a 3.65 GPA, Smith led the country in goals-against average and save percentage, anchoring one of the most efficient defensive units in Division III throughout the season.
Paxson earned Second Team Scholar All-America honors after a standout year as a center back. A Business Analytics major with a 3.70 GPA, Paxson contributed on both sides of the ball, totaling four goals and four assists while playing a key role in Scranton's nationally ranked defense.
The United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for excellence in academics and soccer performance. The three selections, highlighted by Campbell's National Scholar Player of the Year honor, underscore the continued standard of excellence within The University of Scranton men's soccer program.
