University of Scranton men's soccer standout Logan Campbell has been named one of four finalists for the Landmark Conference Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, the conference office announced.
The award recognizes graduating seniors who have distinguished themselves through excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service. The overall winner will be selected from the four finalists and submitted for consideration for the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) National Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
Campbell capped off one of the most accomplished careers in program history while maintaining a 3.99 grade point average in Scranton's MBA program.Â
A cornerstone of the Royals' defense throughout his career, Campbell helped lead Scranton to the 2022 Landmark Conference Championship and played a key role in the program's continued success. During his senior season, he earned Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors while anchoring a back line that surrendered just four goals all season and did not allow a goal in conference play. The Royals finished among the national leaders in both shutout percentage and goals-against average.
Campbell became just the second First Team All-American in program history and concluded his career with three All-Landmark Conference selections and two First Team All-Region honors.
In the classroom, Campbell earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) First Team Academic All-America honors in 2025 after being named a CSC Academic All-District selection three times. He also received United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team recognition and was named the 2025 United Soccer Coaches National Scholar Player of the Year.
Away from the field, Campbell demonstrated a commitment to serving others through numerous community engagement initiatives. He served as an Event Coordinator with Lamancha Animal Rescue, helping organize volunteer efforts and support animal care programs. Campbell also volunteered with Riverfront Sports' Challenger Soccer Program, assisting with inclusive soccer opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and contributed to meal preparation efforts at The Arrupe House in partnership with Friends of the Poor.
The Landmark Conference will announce its Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year recipients on Wednesday, July 8.
