The University of Scranton men's soccer team has earned national recognition this week, entering the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Top 25 rankings at No. 20, the first time the Royals have cracked the top 25 this season.

This milestone comes following a scoreless tie against No. 9 Cortland on Saturday. The Royals join the ranks of elite Division III programs in earning this distinction, highlighting the strong start to the season. Scranton has also moved up to No. 2 in the Region V rankings, passing Landmark Conference rival Catholic University (No. 3).
The Royals have established themselves as one of the top defensive teams in the country. The squad currently ranks second in the nation in save percentage (.966), tied for fifth in team goals against average (.167), and tied for sixth in shutout percentage (.833).
The men's soccer team will host Misericordia University at Weiss Field in non-conference action on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.
