Scranton Women's Swimming & Diving Set for Landmark Conference Championships

BALTIMORE, MD – The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team will compete at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships from Thursday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Mangione Aquatic Center on Loyola University's campus in Baltimore, Maryland.

Championship Homepage

Led by Head Coach Chris Brown in his seventh season, the Royals have built a championship-level program, capturing five Landmark Conference titles (2008, 2009, 2010, 2024, 2025). With championship experience, proven leadership, and depth throughout the roster, the Royals look poised for another strong postseason showing as they aim to secure their third consecutive Landmark Conference title this weekend.

At a Glance

Scranton enters championship season as the reigning Landmark Conference champion after closing the 2025 meet with 20 total medals, showcasing depth in both swimming and diving. In the pool, the Royals are paced by Aviah Dahlgren in the distance freestyle events, Alyssa Bean in the butterfly and backstroke, and Kimberly Gingrass as a consistent point scorer in the sprint freestyle and breaststroke races.

The diving corps remains a key strength for Scranton, as the Royals return three of four medal-winning divers from last season. Nicole Stofko anchors the group after being named Landmark Conference Diver of the Year for the second straight season in 2025, sweeping both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. Sophia Romano earned silver medals on each board, while Chloe Furlong added a bronze medal on the 3-meter at last year's championship.
