SCRANTON, Pa. – University of Scranton junior defenseman Connor Cole has been named a Preseason Honorable Mention All-American by Inside Lacrosse, recognizing his impact as one of the top returning defenders in the country.

Cole put together a standout sophomore campaign in 2025, earning Second Team All-Conference honors while anchoring the Royals' defense. He led Scranton in caused turnovers with 28 and finished second on the team in ground balls with 48, consistently setting the tone on the defensive end with his physical play and instincts.
A reliable presence throughout the lineup, Cole's ability to disrupt opposing offenses and turn defense into transition has made him a key piece for the Royals heading into the upcoming season.
