SCRANTON, Pa. – Senior Olivia Miller was named Peggy's Scranton Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance for The University of Scranton women's track and field team at the Big Apple Invitational on Saturday.
Miller continued her impressive indoor campaign by breaking a three-year program record previously held by Noelle Gonzalez in the 400-meter. She placed third overall with a time of 58.92 seconds, breaking the record by .35 of a second. With the performance, Miller now ranks number one in the Scranton record book for the 400 and 500-meter events.
