The No. 15 University of Scranton women's lacrosse team fell at home to No. 22 Williams College, 12-10, Tuesday evening at Weiss Field in Scranton.

How it Happened
- Scranton opened the scoring at the 9:30 mark of the first quarter when Eileen Hewitt connected with Natalie Paul, who scored the game's first goal.
- Less than three minutes later, Hewitt took a pass from Jillian Lopez and scored to make it 2-0.
- Franny Donohue got Williams on the board with her first goal 41 seconds after Hewitt's, and the Ephs tied the game with 2:57 left in the first quarter.
- Lopez took a feed from Grace DiDominica and found the back of the net to put Scranton back in front with 44 seconds remaining in the quarter.
- Neither team scored until the 6:49 mark of the second period, when McKenna Dwyer scored for the Ephs to tie the game at 3-3.
- Lopez gave the Royals the lead again with her second goal of the game, assisted by Hewitt, with 1:16 left in the half.
- Williams scored the first goal of the second half 3:22 into the third quarter to tie the game at 5-5.
- Lopez recorded her third goal of the game at the 9:32 mark to put the Royals back in front, and 1:31 later Alexandra Back extended the lead to 7-5.
- Williams answered less than a minute later to cut the deficit to one, but Hewitt responded with her second goal of the game to push the lead back to two.
- Katy McCullough scored with 38 seconds left in the third quarter for Williams, sending the game to the fourth with Scranton ahead 8-7.
- Lopez scored the first two goals of the fourth period, the first 1:04 into the quarter and the second at the 10:19 mark, extending Scranton's lead to three – its largest of the game.
- Williams rallied late, scoring five straight goals over the final 8:23. McCullough and Allison Lee each scored once to bring the Ephs within one, and Ella Ryan scored at the 2:18 mark to tie the game at 10-10. Ryan added another with 1:01 remaining to give Williams its first lead, and Donohue sealed the comeback with her third goal with 15 seconds left to go, as Scranton fell 12-10.
