The University of Scranton will host a special celebration recognizing its women's basketball team on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the John Long Center.

University President Rev. Joseph G. Marina, S.J., invites members of the Scranton community to attend and celebrate the team's outstanding season, highlighted by a national runner-up finish and the program's first national championship game appearance in 41 years.

The event will honor the achievements of the Lady Royals, recognizing their success on the court and their dedication in the classroom throughout the year.

All members of the University community are invited to attend and show their support for these exceptional student-athletes.
