Junior attacker Jillian Lopez and junior midfielder Eileen Hewitt were named Landmark Conference Athletes of the Week after helping lead the Royals to a 2-1 week, improving to 7-4 on the season.

This marks the fourth time Scranton has swept the Landmark weekly awards and the second time in the first six weeks of the season that both Lopez and Hewitt have earned the honors together. It is the fourth Defensive Player of the Week award of Hewitt's career and the fourth Offensive Player of the Week honor of Lopez's career.

Hewitt, named Landmark Defensive Player of the Week, delivered a dominant all-around performance across three games. She totaled 11 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, and 18 draw controls during the week. In the matchup against No. 22 Williams, she posted four ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls. She led the team with 11 draw controls, while adding one caused turnover and two ground balls in a dominant win over Lycoming. The Downingtown, Pa., native wrapped up the week with five draw controls, five caused turnovers, and five ground balls against Elizabethtown. Hewitt also contributed offensively with six goals and five assists. 

Lopez powered Scranton's offense, recording 14 goals and two assists over three games. She opened the week with five goals against No. 22 Williams, followed by six goals in the 24-6 win over Lycoming in conference play. On Saturday, she added three goals and one assist to wrap up the week. Defensively, she tallied three ground balls, eight draw controls, and one caused turnover.

The Royals are back in action on Wednesday against Juniata College, with the opening draw set for 4:00 PM in Scranton, Pa.
